Job Title:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Brainkind Neurological Centre York.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at Brainkind, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing occupational therapy input within our neurobehavioural model to individuals with acquired brain injury.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a specialist clinical area using skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation with support from a senior OT.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Assess and manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental/physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based and user-centred principles.
  3. Address occupational performance and skill deficits enabling individuals in areas of self-maintenance, productivity, education, and leisure.
