ADHD Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ADHD Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team at Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical assessments and interventions to adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans and treatments. You will also provide education and training to staff, students, and other healthcare professionals on ADHD management.
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of ADHD assessment and treatment, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. A recorded prescribing qualification as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and independent non-medical prescriber status are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist clinical assessments and interventions for adults with ADHD.
- Develop and implement effective care plans and treatments in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the development of public health and health promotion activities in accordance with national and local priorities.
- Lead and participate in clinical research related to ADHD.
- Teach and educate clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals about managing their condition.
Person Specification:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with live NMC Registration and recorded prescribing qualification.
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber with clear demonstrable knowledge and skills and extensive previous experience relating to prescribing.
- Training in assessment and treatment of ADHD.
Salary and Benefits:
