We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist on the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Northern General Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to adults with cystic fibrosis. As a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of optimum care to patients in both community and acute settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with specialist physiotherapists, dieticians, occupational therapists, and skilled consultants to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and goals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and independence.

The successful candidate will have recent post-registration experience, relevant experience within the CF specialty, and effective leadership skills. They will also be able to work autonomously, prioritize workload, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £43,041 - £70,451 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
