Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our dynamic team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and leading a team of clinical research nurses, midwives and healthcare professionals to ensure effective delivery of clinical research portfolios;
- Developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve research delivery and associated workforce planning;
- Working closely with the Lead Nurse for Research and Development, Research Matrons and other stakeholders to provide leadership and management to the clinical research delivery teams;
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on research activity, progress and outcomes;
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of research into routine clinical care;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Clinical Research or related subject, or substantial equivalent experience;
- RGN (Adult Part 1) NMC Register or Midwifery qualification;
- Leadership development training and recognised teaching qualification;
- Extensive post-registration experience in a range of settings, including leading/managing teams at a senior level (Band 7 or above);
- Specialist knowledge of research delivery and associated workforce planning;
- Excellent IT skills, competent in standard PC packages (Microsoft Office or equivalent);
