Job Title: Accident and Emergency Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accident and Emergency Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Breast Care clinic, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic nursing care to patients in our Consultant and nurse-led clinics
  • Manage daily post-op/acute dressings clinics, assessing and implementing care plans
  • Facilitate aseptic procedures within a radiological setting
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the management of the Breast Care clinic, including absence management and deputising in the manager's absence
Requirements:
  • Qualified to function as a mentor for pre-registration learners
  • Experience of research activities and quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
