We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Haematology to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with haematological malignancies. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize the needs of patients with haematological malignancies.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting independence and self-management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in haematology or oncology nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
