About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Specialist Nurse/Physiotherapist to join our Community Respiratory Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care and support to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD and asthma.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for staff and patients to promote respiratory health and wellness.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of respiratory care services and programs.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification in nursing or physiotherapy.
  • Active registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working in a respiratory care setting, preferably with chronic lung disease patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
