About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients across a range of settings, including hospital and community environments.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Experience in a generic therapy assessor role or a similar setting.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of areas of clinical governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
