About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Casualty team at Davies. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting colleagues, handling allocated claims, and ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers to communicate and negotiate settlements.
  • Investigate claims, either from your desk or by referring them to a field adjuster for on-site investigation when necessary.
  • Obtain and review all relevant evidence and documentation.
  • Determine appropriate actions to resolve each case and prepare detailed reports.
  • Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits and maintain proactive communication with all parties involved.
  • Adhere to documented procedures and client requirements, and regularly review and maintain proper reserves.
  • Stay updated on technical changes relevant to your role, including participating in company facilitated training programs.
Requirements
  • Experience handling Noise Induced Hearing Loss Claims is ideal.
  • Excellent management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels.
  • Knowledge of how to value injury claims, and understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and a collaborative team player.
