Claims Management Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Claims Management Supervisor to join our team at Davies Group. This role will involve overseeing and supporting colleagues, handling allocated claims, and ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers to facilitate smooth claim resolution.
- Investigate claims, either from the desk or by referring them to a field adjuster for on-site investigation when necessary.
- Gather evidence and documentation to support claim processing.
- Determine appropriate actions to resolve each case, taking into account policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics as needed.
- P Prepare detailed reports advising on policy coverage, legal liability, value of claims, and negotiation strategies as required.
- Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
- Maintain proactive communication with all parties involved in the claim process.
- Ensure adherence to documented procedures and client requirements.
- Regularly review and maintain proper reserves.
- Stay updated on technical changes relevant to the role, including participation in company facilitated training programs.
- Experience handling Noise Induced Hearing Loss Claims.
- Excellent management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proven experience in leading a diverse team.
- Strong confident communication skills.
- A good negotiator with leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficiency in managing claims from start to finish.
- Experience with the investigation of Liability Claims.
- Knowledge of how to value injury claims.
- Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Collaborative team player.
- Ability to manage personal caseload effectively.
- Demonstrated adaptability and versatility.
- Exceptional communication abilities across various levels.
