Senior Claims Manager

As a Senior Claims Manager at Davies, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting colleagues, handling allocated claims, and ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with client requirements. This role requires experience in a similar position, with a focus on managing claims from cradle to grave and investigating liability claims.
Key Responsibilities
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers to communicate and negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
• Handle allocated claims, either from your desk or by referring them to a field adjuster for on-site investigation when necessary.
• Obtain all relevant evidence and documentation to support claims.
• Determine appropriate actions to resolve each case, ensuring adherence to documented procedures and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports, advising on policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics as needed.
Requirements
• Experience handling Noise Induced Hearing Loss Claims is ideal.
• Excellent management, planning, and organisational skills.
• Strong confident communication and negotiation skills.
• Leadership and motivational skills to manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in managing claims from cradle to grave and experience with the investigation of liability claims.
• Knowledge of how to value injury claims and understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and collaborative team player skills.
