About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tenancy Support Coordinator to join our team at The Forward Trust. As a key member of our Housing Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing issues with their tenancy linked to substance misuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide intensive support to create long-term sustainable tenancies
  • Promote independence and support individuals to maximize connectivity with the local community and partner agencies
  • Provide holistic support, addressing issues such as basic living skills, social integration, education, and employment
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to monitor and manage client health and minimize risks of harm
  • Contribute to the achievement of project objectives and targets set by Forward and local commissioners
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and its impact on tenancy
  • Understanding of the importance of trauma-informed support
