The Royal College of Art is seeking a highly skilled Governance Administrator (Academic) to join our team. As a key member of the Secretariat, you will play a critical role in supporting our academic and corporate governance structures, helping the College achieve its strategic goals.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will provide personal administrative support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic (PVC Academic) and work closely with Senate and other key academic committees. Your responsibilities will include providing complex diary management, coordinating projects, and analysing data to produce reports.

You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality governance services. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, health insurance, and generous annual leave.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide personal administrative support to the PVC Academic, including complex diary management and correspondence handling.
  2. Coordinate projects within the PVC Academic's portfolio, maintaining accurate records and tracking progress.
  3. Analyse data to produce internal and external reports.
  4. Liaise with the College Executive Group and academic leadership teams.
  5. Manage national and international travel arrangements, ensuring adherence to policies and efficient itinerary planning.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High digital literacy and ability to manage workflows effectively using MS Office, G-Suite, or similar tools.
