We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Reed. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing company by providing exceptional customer service and efficiently managing a backlog of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries: Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage and respond to customer communications: Update and maintain customer records in our database, and collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with order processing and delivery tracking: Help manage the backlog of work, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and company objectives.
- Perform general administrative tasks: File, data entry, and document preparation, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role: Preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities: Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Experience with database management and other administrative software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
About the Role:
