Job Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at First Base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
About the Role
This role involves managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, across a range of platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and researching potential clients, selling sponsorship packages, magazine placements, digital advertising, and podcast slots, as well as developing and executing sales strategies leveraging all available platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients across various industries to build a strong pipeline.
- Sell sponsorship packages, magazine placements, digital advertising, and podcast slots to meet client needs and negotiate deals to exceed sales targets.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a proven experience in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within media, events, or related industries, as well as strong knowledge of cross-platform sales, including sponsorship and digital media.
