Opera Fundraising Specialist Job Opportunity

Scottish Opera is seeking a skilled Fundraising Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts. This exciting opportunity will involve developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies to support our artistic mission.

About the role:

  • Salary: Competitive remuneration package (£45,000 - £60,000 per annum)
  • Location: Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow, with occasional travel to other locations across Scotland
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent position
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure significant revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content and campaigns

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills
