Job Description

Scottish Opera is Scotland's national opera company, known for its innovative productions and commitment to bringing opera to audiences across the country. As a Donor Recruitment and Development Manager, you will play a vital role in recruiting new donors and developing a data-driven strategy to grow lower and mid-giving levels.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a compelling donor recruitment strategy with a financial target of £25,000 new income in year one and £25,000 in year two
  • Work with the Director of Fundraising and the Individual Giving Team to forge new relationships and establish a strong foundation for future giving
  • Ensure donors have an excellent experience supporting Scottish Opera from day one, with opportunities and reasons to increase their giving
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of making the ask and developing compelling calls to action
  • Knowledge of individual giving fundraising techniques and best practices across the charity sector
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to learn fundraising techniques
