This role will be responsible for identifying profitable new business opportunities and ensuring the continuation of an international marine practice for Allied World Reinsurance.

  • Responsible for underwriting, pricing, and modeling accounts via in-house tools to drive business growth.
  • Actively manage a portfolio, including audits, claims, trends, and market issues impacting their accounts/portfolio.
  • Liaise with the Claims department on specific claims activity.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
  • Develop significant broker & client relationships in Europe Marine.
  • A strong understanding of contract wording expertise and actuarial pricing techniques is beneficial.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (RMS & AIR experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and writing skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
