We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role will involve covering our busy reception desk Monday to Friday from 2 pm – 6 pm and providing support during staff absences/holidays as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Manage the practice's IT systems, including Vision, Docman, SCI Store, SCI Gateway, Word, and Excel, with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and preparing correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., medical administration, business, or healthcare).
  • Proven experience working in a medical practice setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.

  • Competitive salary of £23,362 - £25,368 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours, based on experience.
