Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at McCarthy Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with businesses of all sizes to build commercial relationships and identify new sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain a live portfolio of customers, working to increase profit for each
- Re-activate lapsed customer relationships to increase sales opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Work with the internal sales team to maximise opportunities and create growth
- Take ownership for cashflow and profitability of your customers
- Utilise your internal sales support to assist you in planning site/company visits
- Carry out site visits to existing and new customers to build rapport and drive sales growth
- Experience with project sales, account management, and project management
- Passionate and energetic with a generative leadership style
- Driven, proactive, and ambitious with the ability to encourage these behaviours in others
- A strong commercial acumen with a track record of developing relationships with a wide variety of clients
- Strong track record of success building excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly articulate and a clear communicator
- Flexible and agile, able to adapt to the needs of the business
