As a dedicated Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with moderate learning difficulties and associated behaviors in a school located in Birmingham. The school caters to students aged 4-19 years who require specialized support to thrive.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a Therapy Department consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists. You will have the chance to network with other professionals, gain relevant experience, and expand your knowledge and skillset.

The ideal candidate will assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students, provide behavior and pastoral support, build robust relationships with students, and adopt a practical approach to meet individual needs.

Key responsibilities include working 1:1 and in small groups with students, ensuring their safeguarding, and attending staff meetings and completing CPD. Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students.

The salary for this role is £85 per day, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only. If you have a Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science degree, this is an excellent use of your qualification.
