Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is a leading paediatric centre with an international reputation in several areas. We are seeking a skilled Operational Theatre Practitioner to join our dedicated theatre team at Birmingham Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work across various specialties, including complex cardiac surgery and day case procedures.

Main Responsibilities

As a Theatre Professional for Children's Hospital, your duties will include working within a large and busy theatre environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care, and contributing to the development of our theatre services. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and experience, working alongside experienced colleagues and accessing ongoing education and training.

You will be required to use your professional judgement to make clinical decisions about patients' conditions and the level of care required. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of £35,500 - £47,765 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as access to ongoing education and training, opportunities for career growth and development, and a supportive work environment.
