Electrical Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Professional to join our RF Seekers Department as an apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering, working on real-world projects and contributing to the success of our team.

The role involves rotating placements across various aspects of electronic and electrical hardware design, including RF Hardware Design, Lab Testing, Hardware and Software Integration, EM Simulation and Modelling, and Data Analysis. You will have the opportunity to work towards Professional Chartership with a relevant institution and we will pay 100% of the fees while you are on the apprenticeship scheme.

Your work week will consist of one day study leave to attend university, where you will study towards a BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree at The University of Hertfordshire. This degree will be fully funded by MBDA.

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have 5 GCSES including Maths, English Language, and Science/Technology at a Grade 9-4, and 120 UCAS points achieved through a T-Level in an Engineering subject, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma, or other equivalent qualifications.

As an Electrical Engineering Professional at MBDA, you can expect a salary of £18,000 plus a £3000 joining bonus, paid travel expenses, annual pay reviews, 25 days annual leave, and up to 15 days flexi leave. We also offer study leave during exam periods and respect new perspectives and experiences, valuing our collaborative ways of working.
