Electrical Design Engineer - Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer - Infrastructure Expert to join our team at Global Infrastructure Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for rail projects, working closely with our clients and internal stakeholders.

About the Role

The Electrical Design Engineer - Infrastructure Expert will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for railway projects, including power distribution, signalling, and communication networks.
  • Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and providing expert advice on electrical design solutions.
  • Ensuring all designs meet industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design for rail infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and PTC Primavera.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
