As a Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the estate wide services and equipment serving all business functions. You will also be required to perform routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment with stakeholders, causing minimal disruption. For this role, we are looking for individuals with City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent (BS7671 & C&G 2391), City & Guilds mechanical qualification or equivalent, Educated to ONC/HNC, Excellent verbal and written English skills. Essential requirements include Engineering experience in similar regulated environment, Good awareness of Health and Safety, Multi-Skilled in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Experience on steam boilers – blowdowns and water treatment., VSD's, motor controls and relay logic, Domestic and low temperature hot water systems., AHU's, FCU's, chilled water and compressed air systems, Working knowledge of “Permit to work” systems., Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. It would be desirable if candidates have IOSH Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Critical Environment Experience., Engineering experience in pharmaceuticals, Water systems and associated risks (ACoPs L8/water treatment). A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package including Electric charging points for Electric/Hybrid vehicles, Discretionary Bonus, Free onsite parking, Subsidised onsite restaurant and coffee shop, Learning and development opportunities, Retail discounts, Well-being & mental health awareness programmes and Multi-faith prayer room.
