As part of our ongoing commitment to developing new treatments and improving lives, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Technician to join our Estates Engineering team at our European Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility in Hatfield.

  • To perform routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment with stakeholders, causing minimal disruption.,">

What We Offer:

For this role, we are looking for individuals with City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent (BS7671 & C&G 2391), City & Guilds mechanical qualification or equivalent, Educated to ONC/HNC, Excellent verbal and written English skills. Essential requirements include Engineering experience in similar regulated environment, Good awareness of Health and Safety, Multi-Skilled in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Experience on steam boilers – blowdowns and water treatment., VSD's, motor controls and relay logic, Domestic and low temperature hot water systems., AHU's, FCU's, chilled water and compressed air systems, Working knowledge of “Permit to work” systems., Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. It would be desirable if candidates have IOSH Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Critical Environment Experience., Engineering experience in pharmaceuticals, Water systems and associated risks (ACoPs L8/water treatment).
