M&E Building Services Maintenance Expert

The M&E Building Services Maintenance Expert will be responsible for the reliable and compliant operation of the estate wide services and equipment serving all business functions across the European Knowledge Centre (EKC) facility at Hatfield. This role will be part of the estates engineering team and will focus on delivering a high standard of mechanical and electrical services throughout the EKC business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment with stakeholders, causing minimal disruption.
- Maintain a high level of awareness of Health and Safety procedures and report any concerns to the Estates Engineering Manager.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide a comprehensive maintenance service.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the estate's mechanical and electrical services, including steam boilers, VSDs, motor controls, and relay logic.
- Perform tasks to a high standard, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent (BS7671 & C&G 2391).
- City & Guilds mechanical qualification or equivalent.
- Educated to ONC/HNC.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
