About the Role:

You will be responsible for driving business growth in Scotland, a key territory with existing relationships to build upon. Your focus will be on new business development, requiring you to map your territory effectively, engage with customers at the right level, and perform a thorough needs-analysis process. This will enable you to populate a quality pipeline of opportunities.

This role presents a long-term career opportunity with a market leader. You will have the chance to work in traditional markets such as Industrial, Manufacturing, Catering, Furniture, and Healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess B2B sales experience and strong closing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth in Scotland
  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct thorough needs-analysis processes to understand customer requirements
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • B2B sales experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong closing skills and ability to negotiate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000 per annum, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced sales professionals.
