We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Head of SEN Alternative Provision, driving innovation and excellence in educational provision.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of strategies that empower students with diverse needs, ensuring their academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to support students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless support systems
  • Manage student discipline and promote high-quality pastoral care
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and have a proven track record in SEN coordination or leadership roles. A degree or equivalent is also required, with NPQSL and/or NPQH being desirable.
