Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEN Coordinator/SENCO to lead our team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with diverse and challenging needs.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum

Job Description

This role requires a Head of SEN who can inspire and motivate students, communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences, and work collaboratively with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching across the secondary age range and hold a national award for SEN coordination or be in the first three years of a SENCO role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • National Award for SEN Co-ordination / NPQ for SENCOs (or be in first 3 years of a SENCO role)
  • Management & Organization Skills
  • Partnership & Community Engagement
  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments (desirable)
