About the Role

The Senior Technical Salesforce Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into product requirements, and breaking down product requirements into lower-level requirements. This individual will lead requirements-related interactions with end-users and stakeholders outside the team and provide guidance and support to other team members, including Development and Testing Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with end-users and business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into product requirements and break down product requirements into lower-level requirements.
  • Take a leading role in defining the requirements gathering and governance process.
  • Work on large Salesforce implementations, both out-of-the-box and customized solutions, with multiple Business Analysts.
  • Investigate customer problems and opportunities using standard Business Analyst problem-solving tools.
  • Facilitate defining a technical solution and documenting this in a functional design.
  • Lead the production of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports to identify areas for improvement in requirements analysis processes.

Requirements

  • Must have extensive and wide-ranging job experience in business analysis, including Lead Business Analyst.
  • Must be skilled in converting business requirements to technical functional requirements, writing Product Backlog Items (PBIs), and working with Developers and Testers to ensure delivered software meets business requirements.
  • Must have experience in logical data modeling and creating entity relationship diagrams.
  • Must have experience in user stories and detailed Gherkin acceptance criteria.
  • Must have experience with standard agreed business analysis methods, tools, and techniques, such as user stories, acceptance criteria, logical data models, state transition diagrams, activity flow diagrams, behavior-driven development.
  • Develop business-level requirements using methods such as EPICS, Use Cases, User Stories, Wireframes, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Functional and Non-functional Requirements.
  • Must be eligible for SC clearance.
