This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced mortuary environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Mortuary Manager to deliver a range of mortuary activities, including admission, identification, and safe storage of deceased bodies for post-mortem examination.

The role involves assisting the Consultant Pathologists in Post Mortem work, preparing the deceased, examining the deceased, re-construction of the deceased, and disinfection of the post-mortem room facilities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing data entry support in relation to the receipt and removal of the deceased.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working hours, annual leave entitlement, and access to training and development opportunities.

Requirements
  • A full driving licence with access to a private motor vehicle to travel between sites and to take part in the on-call service.
  • Sound education including English Language.
  • Experience of working as a team and of training others in practical aspects of the work.

Estimated Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum
