An exciting opportunity has arisen within Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust for a dedicated individual to work as a Customer Service apprentice in the reception at Coral House, Shrewsbury. This is a fixed-term contract role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 08:30–17:00.

This is a fantastic chance for an enthusiastic, friendly, and caring person to start their career within the NHS. As a first point of contact for all visitors to the site, which hosts both adult's and children's services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support and service.

The successful candidate will participate in a comprehensive apprenticeship program to gain a recognized qualification: Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner. You will also receive full training and support to acquire valuable work experience within the NHS.

">

We require applicants who are computer literate, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, have an interest in administration, and can thrive in a busy environment. A mature and professional outlook is essential, alongside the ability to demonstrate a high level of commitment to the Apprenticeship program.

You must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.

  • Deal with queries from patients/parents and carers/professionals on the phone and face-to-face">
  • Process incoming and outgoing post">
  • Process building maintenance requests">
  • Provide additional administrative support to the Children's Therapy Admin team">

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £22,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
