Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Improvement Specialist to join our team at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in promoting quality improvement and best practice within healthcare.

The successful candidate will have a clinical background or equivalent experience, with a proven ability to positively influence others and lead by example. You will be responsible for supporting the mortality review process and wider learning from deaths programme of work, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference for patients and their families by promoting a positive culture of learning from deaths. The post holder will need to be inspirational, motivated, and determined in their approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Duties
  • Support the mortality review process and wider learning from deaths programme of work
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote quality improvement and best practice
  • Lead by example and positively influence others to achieve exceptional patient care

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
