About This Role:
Cura Support Services is looking for an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Shrewsbury. In this role, you will work closely with local nursing homes and care facilities to ensure their staffing needs are met. Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to vulnerable adults living with various conditions.

Compensation Package:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.00, along with flexible scheduling and advance bookings. We also provide free yearly refresher training and referral bonuses to our staff members. Additionally, we offer a company pension scheme and a referral programme.

Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Safely utilizing Manual Handling equipment
  • Providing personal care services for male and female residents
  • Assisting in food preparation and feeding of residents
  • Completing documentation accurately during shifts
  • Offering emotional support and promoting independence
  • Maintaining general housekeeping responsibilities
  • Supporting residents in physical activities

Requirements:
  • Holding a valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Having at least 6 months of recent care experience in the UK since January 2023
  • Being a proactive, passionate, and positive caregiver
