About the Role

As the Lead HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality HSE service, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, customers, and contractors. Your duties will include conducting regular HSEQ reviews and audits, developing and implementing safe systems of work, promoting best practices, and managing investigations and reports following incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert guidance on HSE matters, ensuring adherence to company policy and legislative requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective control measures.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive safety culture within the workplace.
  4. Analyze data from audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Maintain accurate records of incidents and near-misses.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A recognized HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Significant experience in a Health and Safety role or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
