">About the Role:
">We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our housing assets and maintaining compliance with statutory and non-statutory fire safety legislation.
">Responsibilities:

- Carry out fire risk assessments across all of our housing stock, ensuring that the FRA programme is delivered on time and to the required standard through a quality assurance programme.">
- Maintain compliance with legislation by utilizing performance data, risk assessments, and audits of Council-owned and managed housing assets.">
- Support, develop, and maintain the Housing Fire Risk Management Policy as a subject matter expert for the council.">
- Collaborate with managers and staff at all levels within the Council to implement fire safety standards and initiatives.">
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff, serving as a focal point for fire safety issues.">
- Technical expertise will be provided to the Fire Safety Manager and Team to enable their duties to be fulfilled effectively.">
- Deputising for the Senior Fire Safety Officer when necessary.">
Requirements:
">This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a deep understanding of fire safety management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
