Role Description

This is a full-time blyth-based role for a lead rigger at Harlyn in Blyth. The lead rigger will oversee and coordinate deck operations offshore, lifting on and offshore, supervising lifts, ensuring safety compliance, managing personnel, and optimizing offshore logistics.

As a problem solver and solution provider, you will be responsible for delivering our solutions. Supported by Method statements and a team of engineers and project professionals, you will drive the site operations forward and be involved in internal workshops to review procedures prior to execution to ensure their safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offshore operations and logistics
• Experience in personnel management and safety compliance
• Ability to plan and coordinate complex lifts
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Technical competencies in offshore equipment and procedures
• Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., HSE, offshore operations)
• Previous experience in the energy or maritime industry
