Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Leader, providing strategic direction and operational oversight to the Centre team.

You will be responsible for managing relationships internally and externally, transitioning the Centre into its next phase of development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute implementation plans.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Spearhead fundraising efforts and manage donor relationships.
  • Oversee financial planning and management.
  • Establish partnerships with key University entities and external stakeholders.
  • Drive engagement with the Hughes Hall community.
  • Coordinate the activities of the Centre's Oversight Committee and Advisory Group.
  • Lead high-profile events and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A Passion for climate change science.
  • Substantial executive-level experience.
  • A proven ability to influence senior individuals.
  • Fundraising experience.
  • Experience in climate change law or sustainability.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and change management skills.

This role comes with a competitive salary range of £68,863 - £79,800 FTE (£55,090.40 – 63,840 actual) and a comprehensive benefits package.
