About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Wood, a global leader in the energy transition and sustainable infrastructure development. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our UK Consulting team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers in the business to deliver the people agenda across the UK Consulting division.
  • Provide guidance and coaching for effective people management and develop solutions to support leaders across the entire employee life-cycle.
  • Line manage a team of three HR Business Partners and HR Advisors.
  • Support the Consulting Leadership across a global remit, providing international network opportunities and coordinating activities as required.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in HR-related or business management qualification (significant previous experience in a similar role will be taken into consideration).
  • Previous experience in generalist HR business partner capacity within a dynamic organization.
  • Previous experience of managing change, including working cooperatively in business partnership.
  • Working knowledge of people practices and applicable legislative frameworks.
  • Experience of dealing with industrial and employee relations issues across a varied service offering.
  • Proven ability to connect, establish, and maintain effective, cross-cultural working relationships with all levels of the organization and externally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a service orientation, being responsive to needs, effectively managing expectations, and able to influence.
