Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures: Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Workplace and Industrial Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace and industrial relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals and performance improvement plans, to drive employee growth and development.
  • HR System Development: Collaborate with the Assistant HR Manager to enhance the performance management system, providing continuous improvement suggestions to drive business success.
  • Sickness and Absence Monitoring: Supervise sickness and absence monitoring strategies, working with medical and occupational health providers to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Personal Injury and Insurance Claims: Handle personal injury and insurance claims, liaising with the company's insurers to ensure prompt and fair resolution.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, focusing on motivation, commitment, and organizational culture to drive business success.
  • HR Initiatives: Assist the HR Manager in rolling out HR initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals, ensuring effective implementation and impact.
  • HR Policy Development: Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • HR Digitalization: Promote digitalization and automation within the HR department, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support the core Human Resources team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in a senior HR advisory role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and success through strategic HR initiatives.
  • Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR casework, including redundancy, disciplinary, and grievance procedures. Experience in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of current employment law. Relevant industry experience. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
