Behaviour Intervention Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Support Professional to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
- Work collaboratively with students, teachers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviour.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviour.
- De-escalation training would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
