Mental Health Specialist

Cygnet Healthcare is a leading provider of mental health services, and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Nield House in Crewe, Cheshire. This role will involve supporting the delivery of effective psychological care to clients within our hospital.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the role of therapeutic boundaries, clinical risk, and the importance of evidence-based interventions. They will also have experience of working within in-patient mental health services and settings, alongside some experience of working with women who experience mental health difficulties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and dedicated individual to develop their skills and contribute to the provision of high-quality mental health services. The estimated salary for this role is £26,500 per annum, which is competitive for the location and industry. We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Qualified Psychologists in the delivery and evaluation of effective services.
- Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments.
- Conduct standardised risk assessments and clinical formulation.
- Deliver individual and group interventions under supervision.
