Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Abm as a Dual Services Officer, where you will be the public face of our Security Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors, and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants, ensuring a positive experience and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, identifying and addressing any security concerns or incidents.
  • Work closely with the Environmental Services team to deliver a seamless service and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or incidents, maintaining a high level of vigilance and awareness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.

  • Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous, and helpful at all times, demonstrating a strong customer service ethos.
  • Be proactive and flexible, able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Hold a Front Line DS License and/or CCTV License (desirable).
