Business Development Lead

The Sales Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the internal sales team, setting and monitoring targets, and implementing performance management initiatives. This role requires a strong leadership style, excellent communication skills, and experience in making outbound calls to secure accounts and develop relationships with customers. As Sales Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction at Macfarlane Packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and monitor individual and team targets, implementing full performance management and development initiatives
- Ensure proactive utilisation of CRM by the internal sales team for sales leads, enquiries, and quotations
- Develop existing accounts, identifying opportunities for up-selling across the product portfolio
- Perform performance management processes to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of performance within the team
- Collaborate with Sales Executives on customer visits to strengthen client relationships and drive sales opportunities
- Uphold high levels of customer service, handling customer queries, orders, and concerns
