The estimated annual salary for this position is around £20,000 - £22,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Description
We seek an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner. As a key member of our staff, you will assist in delivering high-quality care and learning opportunities for children based on their needs and interests.
You will build effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, providing an outstanding childcare experience in a happy setting where our mini people can grow and thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the children's development, learning, and play through planning appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Assisting with operating a programme of activities suitable to the age range of the children in conjunction with other staff.
- Championing Minibugs commitment to safeguarding children by following the company's safeguarding policy and procedures and the guidance from the Local Safeguarding Children's Board (LSCB).
We offer a comprehensive training programme, including Level 3 Early years' educator apprenticeship standard, and Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
Skills Required
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, number skills, analytical skills, and team-working abilities. You should also be creative, have initiative, and be non-judgmental with patience and physical fitness.
