Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at an amazing school in St Austell. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers and professionals to ensure effective support for students
  • Assisting with personal care tasks and helping learners develop social and emotional skills

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students who have speech and language disabilities and autism
  • Knowledge of relevant teaching strategies and resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
