Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND/SEMH support assistant to work in a school in Merton. The school aims to provide a nurturing environment for pupils to learn and develop in confidence. The role involves supporting pupils in various classrooms, with aspects of 1:1 responsibilities where needed. The pupils range from KS1 to GCSE and cover the UK curriculum. The working hours are school hours, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General classroom support in all lessons.
  • 1:1 support with pupils who require additional help.
  • Small group intervention in Maths and English.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with SEND/SEMH pupils and experience in supporting individuals with similar needs. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required. Protocol Education offers a dedicated consultant, competitive pay, and access to 50+ CPD courses.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with SEND/SEMH pupils.
  • Experience in supporting SEND/SEMH individuals.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
