At Protocol Education, we are seeking a dedicated SEND teacher to work in a school in Merton. This role is perfect for qualified SEND teachers who are passionate about transforming the lives of vulnerable learners.

This position involves working with children and young people with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, and holistic manner to raise their engagement and improve their educational journey.

What we offer our SEND Teachers:

  • Competitive salary: £34,000 - £47,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning engaging sessions for teaching, tutoring, and mentoring.
  • Providing holistic and engaging sessions that meet the needs of the young person and advance their educational and social-emotional journey.
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress.

Requirements:

  • Professional teaching qualifications (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, B.Ed, PTLLS, DTLLS, CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining this at a cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
  • Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and following safeguarding policies and procedures.
