Job Title: Special Needs Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Special Needs Teacher, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of vulnerable learners and providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified SEND teachers who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each individual student.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs specifically SEMH.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.

All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
